Ada's first garden

Our almost 8 month old helping us in the garden.  Luckily there were no mosquitoes!

Does anyone know why this romaine lettuce plant decided to reach for the stars?

Our compost!  Thank you Tonya for helping me load this up from someone's curbside trash.  One man's trash is another man's treasure (black gold in this case).

Our poor peas and snap peas were all growing together so....
Ben made them some poles to climb and we attached them with twisty ties

Our little harvest so far: Beans and a few peas

LDS Prepper

This is a great local resource.  This family is in our Stake and they rock!  Check them out on youtube and see all of their helpful videos.  I subscribe to their channel LDSPrepper and so can you!  It's not just gardening- it has other preparedness topics too!

Does anyone remember the website that his wife manages about gardening?  If so, could you post the link?  Thanks!

Peas, Snow Peas, Bush Beans

Today I planted peas, Snow Peas and Bush Beans.  I started them from seeds and am praying they will grow.  I put them in rows and labeled them so I wouldn't forget which is which.  I also added more Romaine Lettuce seeds to my lettuce box.  What are you planting?
